Community Service: BFS Students’ International Service
BFS students take part each year in an international community service project. In the past, students have done Habitat for Humanity projects in both Thailand and Bali. For the 2010-11 school year, planning is still onging for what and where the current project will be. These projects are important because they help people in other countries. For example in Thailand, BFS students helped build two houses. These projects also help students realize about the contributions they can make to the world-at-large, and not just in their own communities only.
