Diane Lund Principal Diane Lund, new Principal of Busan Foreign School, comes to BFS from Minnesota in the United States. A lifelong educational professional, Mrs. Lund will begin her first year as principal after a 35 year career of considerable academic and professional achievements. She is a U.S. certified and licensed principal- having completed the K-12 administration licensure program with the University of Minnesota. Previously, Mrs. Lund earned a B.S. and licensure in Elementary Education and Spanish from the Minnesota State University, as well as an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. Diane Lund began her career in education in Honduras and moved into St. Paul, Minnesota as a Spanish Specialist – later becoming a full time elementary classroom teacher. She has been recognized as a National Board Certified Middle Childhood Teacher and has worked overseas in both Saudi Arabia and Japan. Her experience as program site leader and literary/math instructional coach has further prepared her as an instructional leader and school administrator. Mrs. Lund is married to Jon Lund (Ed.M, Harvard) and is the mother of three university students in the United States – Elizabeth, Anna, and Mikael. |

Glenn Saunders Mr. Saunders will be starting his fifth year at Busan Foreign School as the Vice-Principal and Academic Counselor and is looking forward to the challenge of working with our largest graduating class in BFS history.
After graduating from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York with a B.A. in Social Studies, his first career path took him to Washington, D.C. where he worked on Capitol Hill in the U.S. House of Representatives as a legislative assistant and assistant press secretary to two U.S. Congressmen. While in Washington, D.C. he pursued his graduate degree earning an M.A. in Political Science from American University. After trying his hand at the federal level of government, Mr. Saunders returned to his home state of Massachusetts where he was chief of staff for a state senator at the State House on Beacon Hill in Boston.
He eventually left the political world to enter the business world as a manager of major corporate accounts for Akamai Technologies based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It was at this time he began volunteering his time at the Boston Area Red Cross where he taught immigrants who were on the path to U.S. citizenship basic U.S. history and U.S. civics in preparation for the U. S. citizenship exam. This is when Mr. Saunders discovered his passion for teaching and education. Mr. Saunders began his career transition into education almost ten years ago as he became a certified high school social studies teacher in the state of Massachusetts. He taught in the western suburbs of Boston before throwing his hat into the international teaching ring five years ago and landed here at Busan Foreign School. He is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in High School College Counseling from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) to assist our students with their choices after high school.

Jin Hee Lee Secretary Ms. Lee received a Bachelor degree in German from Dong-A University in Busan and has also studied at Munich University in Germany. She is fluent in German. Additionally, she completed CPR certification through the Busan Medical Information Center. This is her third year working at Busan Foreign School. |

Woo Lim Lee Secretary Ms. Lee received a Bachelors degree in Japanese Literature from Kyeong-sung University in Busan. She can speak Korean, Japanese and English and has experience working with many different nationalities through her work in the airline industry as well as in the international services department of a local hospital. This is Miss Lee’s first year at Busan Foreign School. |
