Kimberly Ferguson Mrs. Ferguson received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies from The University of Texas at Austin. She has three years of teaching experience working with pre-school and elementary students, specializing in social skills and behavior. She previously coordinated Behavior Inclusion programs for her district in Texas. Mrs. Ferguson received her Texas Teacher Certifications in ESL, early childhood – 4th grade education and special education at all levels. This is Mrs. Ferguson’s first year at BFS, and she is extremely excited about teaching Nursery School this year. |

Emily Macklin Mrs. Macklin attended the University of Lethbridge, Alberta from 2001-2005 and graduated with a Bachelor of Art degree majoring in Psychology. Subsequently, she completed an additional year of post-graduate studies in Drama and Education. Mrs. Macklin first lived in Busan, Korea from 2006-2007 teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to Kindergarten and Elementary students. With the desire for more travel and education, she moved to Cebu, Philippines to obtain her TEFL certification. Soon after, Mrs. Macklin moved to Seoul, Korea from 2007-2009 to continue her zest for teaching ESL. Wanting to advance her own education, she returned to Canada from 2009-2011 to obtain her Master of Teaching degree from the University of Toronto. Mrs. Macklin is passionate about travelling, learning new languages, cultures, food, and fitness. She is very excited to be the new Pre-Kindergarten teacher at BFS. |

Jamie Racek Ms. Racek received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Montclair State University in New Jersey. She has five years of teaching experience working with preschool students in both public and private institutions. In addition, Ms. Racek has two years of experience teaching both ESL and elementary students in New Jersey and South Korea. This will be her second year teaching in South Korea. She is a passionate educator and is looking forward to teaching Kindergarten this year!

Young Ran Hong Ms. Hong received a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Hannam University in Taejon and is a certified teacher in Korea. She also has a post-graduate diploma in International Marketing from Humber College in Toronto. She previously taught English in elementary schools and institutes in Busan and assisted in classrooms in the Toronto area. |
