Katarina Safradin
1st Grade
Ms. Safradin received her Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada. She also received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Languages from the same institution. She speaks German and Italian fluently and has a minor in Spanish. Ms. Safradin is a certified teacher in the province of Ontario, Canada. She has teaching experience in both Canada and Korea. This is her fifth year in the teaching profession.

Amy Sauerwein
2nd Grade
Ms. Sauerwein received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Language Arts and Social Science from Western Illinois University. She has also received her TESL certification from Oxford Seminars. She previously worked as a teacher assistant in an elementary school in Colorado. Ms. Sauerwein has coached both boys and girls volleyball at the middle school and high school level. During the summers, she helped run volleyball camps at Western Illinois University and her High School in Belleville, Illinois. This will be her first year teaching in South Korea.

Jillian Watts
3rd grade
Miss Watts received her Bachelor of Science degree in Childhood Studies, with a minor in music, from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire, USA. She is a certified K-8 teacher in the state of New Hampshire. She has taught piano lessons and taught at a piano camp in NH. Previously, she also taught elementary music for pre-school to fifth grade at an international school in Istanbul. This is Miss Watts’ third year in South Korea, and second year at BFS.

Ann Alexander
4th grade
Ms. Alexander received her Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Humanities from York University in Toronto and her Bachelor of Education degree from Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia. She has worked in England and in Canada teaching English and working with elementary grades. Ms. Alexander is a certified teacher in the province of Ontario and also has TESL certification from Canada. This is her second year teaching in South Korea.

Sarah Jolly
Elementary ELL
Mrs. Jolly received her Bachelor of Education degree from the Vancouver Island University in British Columbia, Canada. She also has her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and history from the same university. Mrs. Jolly is a certified teacher from the province of British Columbia in Canada. She has coached basketball and volleyball teams for elementary, middle, and high school in both Canada and Korea. This will be Mrs. Jolly’s eighth year in South Korea and her sixth year at BFS.
