Jefferson Lipsky MS History Mr. Lipsky earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Southern Illinois University in 2004. He went on to work in radio and sales for a few years, then attended DePaul University of Chicago to obtain a Masters in Education. He is certified to teach middle and high school social studies. He worked in Chicago Public Schools, then moved to Busan to teach kindergarten for a year. This is his second year at BFS. |

Tessa Crewe Mrs. Tessa Crewe joins BFS from Christchurch, New Zealand. She obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Otago, New Zealand. She has completed the teacher licensure component of her education degree through Montana State University in America, and will complete the Masters of Education this academic year. Tessa has six years of international teaching experience and is in her fourth year at BFS. In the past Tessa has taught middle school science (grades five through eight), high school drama and TOEFL classes, and also middle school ESL. She has also facilitated Habitat for Humanity charitable trips for students, coached cross country, and offered after-school tutoring. |

Camille Butcher Ms. Butcher earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with specialized honors in English Literature from York University in Toronto, Canada. She also received a Bachelor of Education degree from the same institution. Ms. Butcher is currently studying for a Masters of Education at Nipissing University. She has been involved with partnership school programs and community agencies for several years where she worked in support programs that include English as a Second Language, Literacy Services, Conflict Resolution, and Special Education. Ms. Butcher is a certified teacher in the province of Ontario, Canada, and she is also CPR certified by the Canadian Red Cross. This is her third year at BFS. |

Richard Pierog In his third year at BFS, Rich has taught for over 15 years, including eight years teaching 5th-8th grade subjects as an Ontario certified teacher in the Toronto Catholic School Board and almost six years as a postsecondary ESL instructor in Busan. He holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario, a B.Ed. from Brock University in Ontario, and a Master’s degree in Educational Technology from the University of British Columbia. He also studied in the Accounting program at Wilfrid Laurier University. |

Sunny Engle Mrs. Engle earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Kansas. Mrs. Engle has been teaching English / ESL since 1996 with various types of students in Korea, the Philippines, and the U.S. She worked in a charter school in Phoenix , Arizona before she came to Busan. She is a certified middle/high school English teacher in the state of Arizona and has SEI endorsement (Structured English Immersion,K-12). This is her third year of teaching in BFS. |

Brent Ferguson Mr. Ferguson joins us from Austin, Texas. He holds a degree in History and Philosophy from Texas State University with a specialization in high school education. |

Jason Crewe Mr. Crewe joins BFS from Nova Scotia, Canada. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Biology and Environmental Science from Dalhousie University in Halifax. He has completed teacher licensure through Montana State University and will complete the Masters of Education this year. Jason has six years of international teaching experience and is in his fourth year at BFS. In the past Jason taught Multimedia, ESL, AP Environmental Science, Environmental Science, AP Biology and Biology. Mr. Crewe also coaches the BFS Boys Soccer team and is the National Honors Society Adviser. |

Simon Lee Mr. Lee comes from Canada with a Honors Bachelor of Science with Specialization in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ottawa. He is an Ontario (Canada) Certified Teacher. This is his first year at Busan Foreign School and he will be teaching chemistry, physics, and running the student resource room. |

Travis Brennan Mr. Brennan attended Humboldt State University in California, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Education with an emphasis in Creative Writing. He holds a teaching certificate in both California and Washington. This is his third year teaching in Korea, and his second year at BFS. |

Jeff Engle Mr. Engle is from Tucson, Arizona. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a BA in History and a minor in Journalism. He then completed his Master’s of Education at the University of Southern Queensland. His teaching experience starts with five years at Tongmyong College, followed by teaching 3rd Grade on the Navajo Indian Reservation and then six years with the Leona Group as an ESL Teacher and Curriculum Coordinator. Mr. Engle is starting his third year at Busan Foreign School teaching in the high school English department. |

Margaret Claypool Ms. Claypool earned Bachelor’s degrees in both French and Mathematics at Humboldt State University in California. She holds a California teaching credential in both subjects and has five years of experience teaching Mathematics in California. This is her first year at BFS and in Korea. |

Linroy Kilgore Mr. Kilgore graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education in 1984 and a Master of Science in Information Technology Management from Colorado Technical University in 2005. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force and served eight years as a target intelligence officer, including one tour of duty in Korea in 1988 and was a captain in Desert Storm in 1991. After leaving the Air Force in 1992, he has worked in education in South Dakota, Illinois, Texas, and Egypt. Linroy is beginning his 19th year in education, having been a science teacher, technology teacher, technology director, district level director, and assistant principal. In 1995 he was a regional director for the Illinois State Board of Education, over the southern region of Illinois. He holds three Texas certifications as Science Teacher, Master Technology Teacher, and Principal, and has also completed the Texas Superintendent program. For the past two years, Linroy has served as Technology Director for Schutz American School in Alexandria, Egypt and is now serving his first year at BFS as Technology Director. Ashley Choi Mrs. Choi earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Korea Univerity from Korea majoring in Linguistics and minoring in English. She finished the master’s course in Interpretation and Translation in Japanese and Translation Studies in English department from Busan National University graduated school. Mrs. Choi has more than 15 years of translation and interpretation experiences for Busan International Film Festival and many other film festivals. Almost 700 Japanese movies and 400 English movies were translated by Mrs. Choi.Furthermore, she has been teaching Japanese in many schools and institutions.This is her second year of teaching in BFS. |

Nicholas Quagliozzi Mr. Quagliozzi received his Bachelor’s of Arts degree with a joint major in History and Political Science from Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey. He has over two years experience teaching, coaching, and coordinating after-school community recreation programs for elementary aged students in New Jersey. This is his second year teaching in South Korea. |

Sally Jung Hyun Kim Dr. Sally Kim has an extensive educational background and experience as a musician and instructor. She holds a Doctor of Music Arts degree from the American Conservatory of Music. She also holds a Master’s degree of Music and Pedagogy from Northeastern University in Illinois. Dr. Kim has been a member of the Chicago Philharmonic Orchestra and the Chicago City Symphony Orchestra in America. Dr. Kim held a graduate faculty position at the American Conservatory of Music from 1997-2004. She is a current member of the Chicago Federation of Musicians and a member of the American Federation of Musicians since 1995. |

Soo-Hyun Hwang Ms. Hwang is a graduate of Busan Art High School and has extensive experience teaching children’s art classes. She also possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art and Printing from Dong-A University. This is her eighth year working at BFS. |

Sun-Jung Kim Ms. Kim holds a Master’s degree in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Pusan University of Foreign Studies. She also holds a secondary school teaching certificate. Additionally, Ms. Kim is a certified Korean language instructor. She has extensive experience teaching Korean and traditional Korean percussion. |
