Tessa Crewe MS Science
Tessa Crewe comes to us from New Zealand. This is her second year at BFS, and her fifth year teaching. Tessa obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Otago, New Zealand, TESOL certification from Sydney, Australia and is currently studying for a Masters of Education at Montana State University. She is passionate about teaching and is excited to be teaching middle school science this year.

Jaqulzn Jennings MS Math
Ms. Jennings received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics with minors in Education and General Science from Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Michigan. She did further study and received a specialty in middle school education. Mz. Jennings is a certified teacher in the state of Arizona with training in ESL classroom techniques and has more than 20 years experience in education, including tutoring students in a variety of subjects. She has also been involved in coaching and directing recreational activities.

Sunny Engle MS ELL
Mrs. Engle earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas. Mrs. Engle has been teaching English / ESL since 1996, with various types of students in Korea, the Philippines, and the U.S. Mrs. Engle is a certified high school English teacher in the state of Arizona.

Kristine Boetto MS English
Ms. Boetto received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She also received her Bachelor of Education at the primary/junior level from the same university in the spring of 2009. This is her second year teaching at BFS. Ms. Boetto has experience working with students of various ages and abilities and is excited to be teaching at the middle school level this upcoming school year.

Maria Mallozzi MS and HS Language Arts / Social Studies
Mallozzi received her Bachelor of Arts degree with specialized honors in Religious Studies and completed her Bachelor of Education degree for the junior/intermediate levels at York University in Ontario, Canada. Ms. Mallozzi has experience teaching a variety of age groups and subject areas. She has also taught students with special needs and ELL students.

Roy McMaster MS and HS Social Studies
Mr. McMaster earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the College of Charleston, South Carolina and a Master of Arts degree in Education from the University of the Virgin Islands. He holds a middle and high school teaching certification from the U.S. Virgin Islands and has more than ten years experience teaching history in the U.S. and the Virgin Islands.

Travis Brennan MS and HS English
Mr. Brennan attended Humboldt State University in California, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Education with an emphasis in Creative Writing. He holds a teaching certificate in both California and Washington. This is his second year teaching in Korea, and his first year at BFS.

Camille Butcher Language Arts / Social Studies
Ms. Butcher earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with specialized honors in English Literature from York University in Toronto, Canada. She also received a Bachelor of Education degree from the same institution. Ms. Butcher has been involved with partnership school programs and community agencies for several years where she worked in support programs that include English as a Second Language, Literacy Services, Conflict Resolution, and Special Education. Ms. Butcher is a certified teacher in the province of Ontario, Canada, and she is also CPR certified by the Canadian Red Cross. This is her second year at BFS.

Jeff Engle HS Language Arts
Mr. Engle received his Bachelor of Arts degree with a minor in Journalism and completed his Master’s of Education degree from the University of Southern Queensland in Australia. Mr. Engle taught for five years at Tongmyong College in Busan and was an ESL teacher and curriculum coach for eight years at West Phoenix High School and Maya High School in Phoenix, Arizona.

Jason Crewe HS Science
Mr. Crewe joins BFS from Canada. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Biology and Environmental Science from Dalhousie University. He has been teaching in Korea for four years and is in his second year teaching at BFS. This year he will be teaching high school science and serving as the technical coordinator. Jason is currently enrolled in a Master of Education program at Montana State University.

Sebastian Cabrera HS Math and Science
Mr. Cabrera received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Mathematics from Concordia University College of Alberta. He has three years of experience teaching Mathematics at BFS, three years of experience teaching ESL in Korea, and over five years experience coaching youth soccer in Canada.

Richard Pierog HS Math / Multimedia
In his second year at BFS, Richard has taught for over 15 years, six at universities in Busan and eight teaching elementary and middle grade subjects as an Ontario certified teacher in the Toronto Catholic School Board. He holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario, a diploma in Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University, a B.Ed. from Brock University in Ontario, and a Master’s degree in Educational Technology from the University of British Columbia.

Jefferson Lipsky HS History
Mr. Lipsky earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Southern Illinois University in 2004. He went on to work in radio and sales for a few years, then attended DePaul University of Chicago to obtain a Masters in Education. He is certified to teach middle and high school social studies. He worked in Chicago Public Schools, then moved to Busan to teach kindergarten for a year. This is his first year at BFS. He is teaching high school World History and Mass Media.

Nicholas Quagliozzi Physical Education
Mr. Quagliozzi received his Bachelor’s of Arts degree with a joint major in History and Political Science from Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey. He has over two years experience teaching, coaching, and coordinating after-school community recreation programs for elementary aged students in New Jersey. This is his second year teaching in South Korea.
