SAT Center
BFS is an Official SAT Center
Busan Foreign School is happy to announce our selection by the CollegeBoard to be an SAT testing center. BFS thus joins a handful of schools on the Korean Peninsula entrusted by the College Board to administer the SAT I Test and SAT II to students. A good score on the SAT can open the door for students to the most prestigious universities in the USA and other countries around the world. Most universities and colleges worldwide recognize the results of the SAT test.
Who Should Take the SAT?
BFS administers the PSAT to all of its students from 9th grade to 11th grade. Typically, students at the end of the eleventh grade and the beginning of the twelfth grade take the SAT. We recommend beginning preparation for the SAT in the tenth grade. If you have any questions regarding the SAT or PSAT please contact Mr. Saunders, our SAT coordinator, at gsaunders@bfs.or.kr
On the day of the exam make sure to arrive at 7:45 a.m. with a valid ID and your webticket. Priority is given to students who are registered for the BFS center on that day. After those students check in, if there are any seats available, we will then begin checking in students that are registered for the test on the same day but at a different center. Next, students who are registered for a different date will be accepted. Lastly, students who are just walk-ins, without a ticket, will be accepted if there are any seats still available.
Students who arrive after 8:00 a.m. will not be admitted entrance into the school on the day of the exam.
